The Amazing Chase was a regular column written by Marty for the regional newspaper the Outback City Express from 2008 till 2014. It started with a feature story on Marty and his storm chasing antics in 2008. As well as the storm column, he then started writing the paper's non-storm-related front page stories until his reign ended at the close of 2014.
